Add any break duration in H:MM format. The calculator instantly shows total hours for each row and the overall total at the bottom.
How are breaks handled in the work hours calculator? Enter your break time in H:MM format (e.g. 0:30 for a 30-minute break, 1:00 for a one-hour break). The break duration is automatically subtracted from the total hours. For example, a 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift with a 0:30 break gives 7 hours 30 minutes worked.
Does this calculator handle overnight shifts? Yes. If your end time is earlier than your start time (for example, start 10:00 PM and end 6:00 AM), the calculator automatically treats it as an overnight shift and calculates the correct duration.
Can I calculate my earnings with this timesheet calculator? Yes. Enter your hourly rate in the Hourly Rate field at the top and select your currency (USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, or CAD). The calculator will automatically multiply your total hours by your rate to show total earnings.
