Work Hour Book ("the app," "we," "us") is a work-hours and pay calculator that helps you track shifts, breaks, overtime, and earnings. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: your timesheet data stays on your device, and the only information that leaves your device is what is strictly needed to process an optional Premium purchase.
This policy covers the iOS version of Work Hour Book, available on the Apple App Store. The Android version is covered by a separate policy.
Everything you enter into Work Hour Book — your clients and employers, hourly rates, shifts, breaks, notes, overtime settings, allowances, expenses, deductions, and paid/unpaid status — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using the device's own storage. We do not have a server, we do not have accounts, and we cannot see, access, or back up your timesheet data.
Because the app stores this data in its own container, a device backup you make yourself — through iCloud Backup or a computer — may include it. That backup is between you and Apple; it does not pass through us, and we have no access to it. You can control this in iOS Settings under your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Backups.
If you delete the app, this local data is removed by iOS along with it. Please export anything you want to keep first — the app can produce a PDF timesheet or a CSV file at any time.
Work Hour Book is free to use. You can optionally upgrade to Premium — a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription — to unlock unlimited clients and employers, PDF and CSV timesheet export, and overtime tracking. Purchases are handled by two services:
This information is used only to deliver Premium: to unlock features, to keep your purchase valid across reinstalls and across your devices, and to prevent fraud. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and it is never combined with your timesheet data — which never leaves your device in the first place.
We have reviewed the privacy commitments of both services and confirm that any third party with whom the app shares data provides the same or equivalent protection of that data as stated in this policy.

If you never buy Premium, nothing in this table leaves your device at all.
If you turn on App Lock, Work Hour Book asks iOS to confirm it is you using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. This check is performed entirely by iOS inside the Secure Enclave. The app never receives, stores, or transmits your face or fingerprint data — it receives only a success or failure result.
With your permission, Work Hour Book shows local notifications — for example, a reminder that you are still clocked in, or a prompt to log a shift. These are scheduled and delivered on your device by iOS. They are not sent through any external server, and we do not use push notifications, so no device token is ever created or shared. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings → Work Hour Book → Notifications.
When you export a timesheet, the app creates a PDF or CSV file on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next — Mail, Files, AirDrop, or another app — is entirely your choice, and that destination's own privacy policy applies from that point. The file is never uploaded to us and never passes through a server of ours.
Work Hour Book is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Timesheet data. It lives only on your device, so you control it directly: edit or delete any client, shift, or week inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of it at once. We hold no copy and therefore have nothing to retain or delete on your behalf.
Purchase data. RevenueCat retains purchase records for as long as the purchase is valid and for a limited period afterwards, so that a restore still works if you reinstall. To request deletion of purchase data associated with your anonymous identifier, or to withdraw consent for its processing, email us at the address below and we will action it with RevenueCat on your behalf. If you are still paying for a subscription, deleting this record may stop it restoring automatically on a new device — cancel the subscription first, or contact us and we will re-link it.
Payment records held by Apple are governed by Apple's own policy and retention rules, which we cannot change. Requests about them go through Apple.
We may update this policy as the app evolves — for example, if we add new features. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. If we ever introduce advertising or analytics, we will update this policy and the app's App Store privacy information before doing so.
Your use of Work Hour Book on iOS is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
